How It Works
Once we've identified items worth disputing, we prepare and submit formal disputes with the relevant credit bureaus, and directly with the creditor or collection agency where appropriate. Bureaus are generally required to investigate within 30 days.
What Can Be Disputed
- Accounts that aren't yours
- Incorrect payment history or account status
- Duplicate or re-aged collection accounts
- Items past the legal reporting window
- Incorrect balances, dates, or account details
What We Handle For You
Disputing a single item can mean coordinating with three bureaus and one or more creditors, each with its own process and timeline. We manage the paperwork, track responses, and follow up — so you're not doing it alone.
Not every disputed item results in removal — bureaus can also verify accurate information, in which case it will remain on your report. We'll always be upfront with you about what's realistic for your specific accounts.
